Hi, I’m Dale..

Before I discovered Burn It Fitness (through my mum), I was a “2-pizza and banana-milk-Thursday” kinda guy!

18st 3lbs of pure unhappiness!

After a few failed attempts of going to the gym and getting nowhere, mainly due to unfriendly people and complete anxiety about using equipment and looking silly, I decided to go to Burn It one night with my Mum.  I turned up in old shorts, my scabby work t-shirt and old football trainers not knowing what to expect!

When I got there I felt a little relieved and relaxed as a couple of folks said hi and Paul welcomed me to the group! Not being fit at all I really struggled that first night, but after that night I was hooked!

Since joining Burn It, I’ve got fitter beyond anything I’d imagined and lost give or take 5 stone!!  I enjoy life so much more, I’m not always sleepy and sluggish! I now run or go to Burn It 5-6 times every week which without the Burn It Fitness team I never imagined that possible!

I love to exercise outdoors, it keeps the mind busy instead of looking at boring gym equipment and the sessions are always fun and exciting. My friends and family motivate me the most, and I never want to be that fat lazy sh*t ever again! 

If I could, I would tell my former self, unless you get off your lazy behind, you’re always gonna end up a fatty.
